The room upgrade provided a fine view of the National War Memorial.
The breakfast options were too limited and did not cater well to diverse tastes.

Housekeeping tends to be unfriendly, and the bathroom doors are heavy and problematic!!! Room supplies were inadequate for the price paid. Valet service is frustrating and not reliable enough!!!

Its location is perfect, very close to the market area as well as Daly's restaurant for breakfast, fairly quiet area. Downtown Ottawa district deserves to be explored.

The comfort and beauty of the room was wonderful. Elegant, crisp decor. A plush, comfy bed. Cozy bathrobe to curl up in. Gorgeous view overlooking Parliament Hill.
Front desk staff: the two staff members at the front desk whom I spoke to during my overnight stay both had a brusque manner, didn't let me finish asking my questions before they jumped in with an answer, didn't ask me if I am a Starwood Preferred Customer ( I am), didn't even say, "Please come again, hope you enjoyed your stay." I have the option of staying in any hotel I wish when I travel... for me, after my physical comfort, what I care about most is that the staff treat me like a treasured guest. A challenge with this hotel is that the elevators are incredibly slow. I had to wait almost ten minutes to get down from the eighth floor, the morning I checked out.

We loved the convenient location right next to the shopping center! The kids enjoyed our family-friendly room with a view, and the staff were so cute. Plus, the breakfast had a fantastic selection that kept everyone happy.
In my kids' opinion, a larger pool area would be great.

I Like the staff and in particular Heather. Because it was my birthday, truffles were left in my room.made me feel special. Please write at least 15 words
The housekeeping staff knocked on my door and before I could answer it, the door was unlocked while we were in there and still in PJ's. Not proper.

When the fridge in my room did not work and I called services, it was very fast and the staff was very courteous and efficient. They replaced the broken one with a new one. However this one did not work very well either- I really like the view and I could walk everywhere around town.
I only stayed there for one night and the hotel was very busy. The receptionist who registered us was not as friendly as I had expected for a 4 star hotel- I checked with her about the parking but not much info out of it. Then I had to talk to a guest I met in the elevator who gave me all the info I needed!
